Mouse for playing
Descent is all about going down and not stopping until you crash or grab every last coin in sight. You're this little guy who just keeps falling through cave levels, and your job is to not slam into stuff. The deeper you go, the faster it gets and the harder it is to survive. It starts slow, but trust me, this game picks up speed real fast and suddenly you're sweating trying to dodge spikes, walls, and tight corners that come outta nowhere. The coins are important—you'll see them floating all over, and while it’s tempting to grab them all, sometimes it’s better to skip a few if it means staying alive. You’ll end up in weird situations like deciding whether to take a risky dive for a coin near the edge or just play it safe and keep falling. There’s definitely a strategy to it, even though it seems like a simple game at first. The controls are super basic—left and right is all you need—but it’s one of those games where the timing matters more than anything. One wrong move and boom—you’re slamming into a wall or landing right on a spike. The cave layout keeps changing too, so it never feels repetitive. Sometimes there’s a wide open drop, sometimes there’s a crazy maze of rocks you gotta slip through like butter. High score chasing is a big part of it. You’ll keep going down again and again trying to beat your last run, get more coins, or just prove to yourself you can get past that one part that always messes you up. If you're the type who likes endless games that test how long you can last, this one’s got that addicting loop where you tell yourself “just one more try” and suddenly it’s been an hour. There’s no music or story or anything fancy. Just you, gravity, and a whole bunch of obstacles trying to ruin your run. It’s honestly kind of relaxing in a weird way, until it gets super fast and your brain is like fully locked in on survival mode. Descent is perfect for short breaks or just zoning out and seeing how far you can go. Play smart, grab coins when you can, and try not to rage when you mess up at the same spot for the 5th time in a row.
